Concrete cutting
in Sydney CBD

City work is a different animal. Everything happens around a building’s rules: booked lift times, dock access, noise windows and a tenant next door who is still trading. The cutting is the easy part — getting the gear in and the site handed back clean is the job.

Getting to you

Access, parking, paperwork

We work to the building, not the other way round. Induction paperwork, SWMS, booked dock and lift times, protection to lifts and lobbies, and noise restrictions all get sorted before the day. If the base building requires a permit to cut, tell us early and we will have the paperwork in on time.

Questions

Working in Sydney CBD

Can you work overnight in the city?

Yes. Most tower work has to happen outside trading hours, and we schedule around the building’s noise windows. Give us as much notice as you can so the dock and lift bookings line up.

Do you provide SWMS and insurance certificates?

Yes, before we arrive. Public liability cover and job-specific SWMS go to the building manager or the site supervisor on request.

Can you cut a post-tensioned slab?

Not blind. Post-tensioned slabs have to be scanned first so we know where the cables run. We will arrange the scan or work to yours, but we will not put a saw into one on a guess.
